Tallgrass Hemp & Cannabis is licensed by Kansas Department of Agriculture to grow and research industrial hemp. With producer's licenses in 2019, 2020 and 2021, Tallgrass was the first in Kansas to produce floral material for CBD oil. Committed to Kansas' excellence in cannabis, Tallgrass advocates for whole-plant applications.
Tallgrass is testing hemp fiber and grain varieties in field trials for the Kansas Hemp Consortium this year. Hemp growers in various parts of Kansas and with different soil types and environmental conditions are taking part in this research.
